Are you a new doula?
Finished a doula course and not quite sure where to start?
Been in business for a while and still haven’t landed your first client?

Feeling a bit ‘ick’ about how to sell your packages and full of imposter syndrome?

Is comparison thieving your joy?

No idea how to integrate social media into your business?

Then this is for you!
I had a million questions about doula work after I finished studying...
The kind that I wasn’t going to get the answers to in a course.
I needed a brain to pick. Someone with experience, failings and wins to draw from. I’m here to be that brain for you.

I’ve been in business since 2019 and have learnt a A LOT along the way. I’ve also had moments of feeling like a failure, huge imposter syndrome stuff that I’ve had to work through, and poop inducing nerves prior to launching new things.
I’m ready to share it all with you!
While I won’t promise to turn you into a six-figure business owner in 3 months...

...I will promise to hold your hand as you step out of your comfort zone, use my lovely ears to listen to your ideas and goals, and share my business knowledge as best I can.
I might just give you the well-intentioned kick up the bum you need to do the damn thing!
There is so much we can tackle together over the three months, like:

-
Creating offerings that reflect what you are most passionate about in postpartum care (maybe that’s cooking, running mother blessings, or traditional Ayurvedic care)
-
Charging enough money so you don’t burnout (that’s just like, the rules of feminism!)
-
Overcoming money shit (not good enough-ness)
-
How to be a mum in business (it’s a juggle, but you don’t have to struggle!)
-
Creating a client intake form
-
Writing engaging copy for your website
-
Social media – how to write posts that people want to read, creating reels that land with your target audience and creating content when you really can’t be fucked!
-
Podcasting (I've had about 15,000 downloads of mine!)
-
Attracting your BFF clients (it has nothing to do with manifesting under a full moon! I mean, you can try that but it takes some hard work too!)

I also want to create some sisterhood between doulas who are facing similar challenges in their businesses – it can be very lonely running your own biz, you need your doula village to support you too.
Why work with me?

Since 2020 I’ve worked with over 100 women both in person and online through workshops, in-person doula clients, doula mentees and mothers in business.

Prior to becoming a doula, I had a 15-year long career in media and communications, and more specifically in public relations and social media over the last decade.

I still love nerding out on social media content creation, algorithm hacks and showing my fabulous and flawed self online.
I’m forever a feminist who wants to see women in business succeed with practical help.

What other women say...
As a brand new postpartum doula it was so wonderful speaking to Steph and learning from her experiences. She shared so openly and answered all my questions without hesitation. It is so nice to be in a community where I can work alongside and learn from inspirational women such as Steph and without worry about competition or comparison. Thank you for sharing your wisdom Steph, you are a valued part of the postpartum doula community
– Ali
Thanks Steph, love talking all things postpartum with you. As a student doula being able to learn from you and share in your knowledge is so worthwhile - can’t recommend it enough!!
- Josie
Steph is a wealth of knowledge with doula magic and encouraged me to tap into what feels good to support my future clients - don’t have to do it all to be an amazing doula! Thank you for your support
- Ellen
It was great to be able to chat with Steph about what it's like to be a postpartum doula. She was very easy to talk to and happy to go with the flow of the conversation bringing no agenda, rather leaving space for all my questions.

Discussing the business-side of things was particularly helpful for me. She answered all my questions and made some great suggestions for things I hadn't considered.

10/10 would recommend if you're considering becoming a postpartum doula and/or starting a small business in the birth sphere
- Mel
The fine print
Voxer support is available From October 10 2023 - January 10 2024 Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. A response to voice/text messages will be sent within 24-48 hours of receiving it (I usually respond pretty quickly but sometimes life/kids take priority!) Maximum monthly voice message in Voxer is for one hour. Dates of group Zoom calls will only be rescheduled if the host (me!) is unwell or cannot attend due to unexpected circumstances. If you cannot attend live, a replay will be available within 24 hours of the call.
